Elizabeth Hanns

Elizabeth Hanns was born on the 20th Feburary 1926 & died on the 8th fenurary 2008 aged 81 yrs she had two sons 3 grandchildren & one great-granchild she loved them all very dearly. she was ill for a long time and due to her being ill she passed awasy & greatly missed by all. I would like to share some of the memories with you all that were read at her funeral by her son David: I'm proud of my mother,OUR mother.During her 81 years she eventually became the head of our family.She was greatly loved & respected by family members & friends alike, & she offered the same,in return to all who knew her. She taught Keith & I to know right from wrong, & even though we're far from perfect, we still try to uphold those values. At junior schol, holy Trinity it must have been the hesd mistress who once said to mother "Mrs Hanns,your two boys are the most politest in the school." You can imagine how that made her feel. We always said please & thank you & still do to this day. She did suffer ill health most of her life as you all know but i don't want to dwell on that. I want to remember this gentle & rather uncomplicated lady that we all knew & loved,My mother,Keiths mother,Aunty,Nan & friend.those are just a couple of memories my uncle had
